I Set Out To Have All ‘A1’s In WAEC Says Jibrin Abdullahi Ndubuisi


It is not a secret that WAEC released its 2015/2016 result. Some results have been quite outstanding and left many people wondering how they achieved such a feat. One of such students is Jibrin Abdullahi Ndubuisi of Graceland International School, Port-Harcourt.


Jibrin had a total of 8AIs and a B2 in English Language. He confessed that he actually set out to have all A's and was disappointed that he had a B.

All through his school life, Jibrin has always been among the best and maintained the first, second or third position in class.

On how he achieved his excellent result, he said he was determined and set goals. As a result he was focused, prepared very well by continuous reading and practice. Finally he prayed to God to help him in achieving his goal.


On the role he wanted parents to play in ensuring their children do very well and ultimately stand out; he said parents should assist their children understand how to set their priorities right. They should also make them understand the importance of excellent performance and also encourage their children to imbibe hard work.

On the advice he has for students. He simply responded a student’s responsibility is to WORK HARD!!!

On his future plans; Jibrin said he wanted to study medicine while his plan wherever he finds himself is to strive to continue being the best wherever he goes.

Finally he mentioned God, his teachers, classmates and parents as those who played different roles in his getting this excellent result.

I really thank God for this Boy's life. I thought through memory lane and remembered I qualified as A Chartered Accountant same year I delivered him having Written the final Stage over 4 times Then. God will Announce Abdul and he fulfill his Destiny. Amen!!!!!
